Zhou Erzhuan Joins TI as Senior Fellow

 

Recently, Mr. Zhou Erzhuan joined Taihe Institute (TI) as a senior fellow.

Zhou holds a Ph.D. in Automation of Electric Power Systems from the Electrical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, and is currently a Principal System Architect at China Electric Power Research Institute, formerly a Principal Scientist at State Grid Electric Power Research Institute. Zhou is also a specially invited expert of China, and a guest professor at Wuhan University, South China University of Technology, Southeast University, and Hunan University. In addition, he formerly served as an assistant professor at a university in Canada and worked as a Senior Software System Architect at TIBCO Software Inc. in the US.

Zhou has contributed numerous achievements in power system simulation and analysis, Digital Twin, Machine Learning, and Big Data, which have earned him academic recognition at home and abroad. He has published 12 papers, and applied for 13 invention patents and 9 software copyrights.

The joining of Mr. Zhou Erzhuan will further enhance TI's research capabilities in energy and information technology.
